FHIR Conformance Validator

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FHIR Conformance Validator and Interop Automation Platform (“the Service”). By creating an account and checking “I agree to the Terms of Service,” you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service helps you validate FHIR resources against FHIR R4 and selected Implementation Guides. It is a development and quality-check tool. It is not an official certification, regulatory approval, or a substitute for production conformance testing required by a payer, EHR, or government program.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that is misused, shared without authorization, or used to harm the Service.

4. Data you submit

• Do not upload real protected health information (PHI) or other sensitive patient data unless you are authorized to do so and the environment is approved for that use.
• Prefer synthetic, de-identified, or test resources for validation.
• Validation reports in this browser UI are stored locally in your browser. Clearing site data or using another device will not show those reports.
• Resources you send to the validator are processed to produce validation results. Do not submit content you are not allowed to process.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
• Use the Service to validate or distribute content you do not have rights to use.
• Circumvent authentication, share login credentials, or access another user’s account.
• Use automated scraping or load testing that disrupts other users without permission.

6. Results and no warranty

Validation results depend on the selected Implementation Guide, profiles, and validator engine. Results may differ from other validators. The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation. You are responsible for how you use the results.

7. Availability

The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, engine startup, or network issues. Features and supported Implementation Guides may change as the platform is updated.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document will change when we do.
